St Mary’s is on a mission to reach the net zero targets set by the Church of England aiming to be net zero by 2030.

In April 2024 St Mary’s welcomed Esos Energy consultants to complete a survey on our energy usage and areas for improvement.

Because of the age of the building it was identified that our energy footprint (in particular the heating) needs to be vastly improved. This is one of the objectives of our new reordering project 2026.
