One of the most enticing stalls at the fete is the one selling local produce. However for it to be enticing it needs that local produce! It is beyond question that there are many skills within the village - be it jam-making, growing vegetables, knitting clothing, oh, the list could go on. It would be wonderful if you were able to donate some of that industry to our local produce stall. Jacqui Earl will gladly receive such donations - there is a box

“What shall we do with that rather odd bottle of wine that someone brought to our last supper party?” is one question. Another might be “Don’t the Blenkinsopps know that we can’t cope with chilli jam”. "That bottle of Limoncello was such a good idea on that sun-drenched beach in Puglia but as the rain beats down at home…..”. And so the questions and observations rumble on but now there is a wonderful opportunity. You can donate all such spoils

We will be holding a spring churchyard clean up session on Easter Saturday - 19th April from 9.30am-12.30am. If you were able to pop over and and lend a hand Russell and his team of gardeners tidy up the church yard it would be very much appreciated. Refreshments will be provided. Bring your own tools if you have any although a variety are available. With many thanks from Russell - chief in charge of the upkeep of the churchyard.
