Scaffolding at St Mary’s Church Autumn 2025
What is happening at St Mary’s this Autumn? St Mary’s is undergoing urgent roof repairs due to slipping slates and failing fixings. Scaffolding will be erected around St Mary’s in late October for essential roof repairs. Repairs are expected to last about a month. The repairs involve removing slates, fitting new battens, re-laying slates, and adding insulation to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprint. VJ80 Commemoration – Micheldever village
There will be a short commemoration at the war memorial adjacent to the Northbrook Hall, Micheldever in respect of those who fell fighting for their country during WW2. There will be a brief introduction, the last post will be sounded and wreathes laid.
