When is a fete not a fete? Not a trick question, merely an alert. The plans for this year’s fete have been pushed along by a very (very!) small team of volunteers. All the expectations of the day are in place, and the stalls are in place, led by our band of stalwarts for the day. However, a set of circumstances came together over the past couple of weeks that proved too burdensome for that small team pulling it all together. An
