VJ80 Day – 80th Year Celebrations of the end of the second world war
St Mary's churchyardCome along to St Mary's for a village picnic to celebrate the 80 years since VJ day and the end of the second world war. Music, bar, raffle and pre-order your picnic (£10 per person) or bring your own. £2 per person or £5 per family. Northbrook Hall 104 Duke St, MicheldeverTalk by Martin Miles – chalk-stream champion on the subject of the River Dever: Its history, geography and today’s challenges including pollution. £10 donation on the door to include refreshments. Donation bar. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. There will be a raffle in aid of St Mary's Roof Repairs fund.
