Rev'd Claire Bentham The Bishop of Winchester is coming to baptise and confirm 5 of our brothers and sisters. The service will be held at Holy Trinity Wonston and will be a joyous celebration of the faith and commitment of Hector, Gail, John, Phoebe and Orlando. I am organising a 2 hour morning cleaning session for the inside of the church in preparation for Christmas which will be taking place in late November. All Holy Dusters and volunteers, old and new are welcome to help spruce up the church building in preparation for the Christmas festivities. Come along and try out the carpet cleaner! Donations
St Mary’s is a Grade 2 Listed building. The church and its grounds are looked after by a team of volunteers. We rely on the support of our generous community and raise money through a number of events. Donations make a huge difference.
VOLUNTEERS
St Mary’s is entirely reliant upon volunteers for its upkeep – flower arrangers, readers, sidesmen and women, cleaners, coffee/tea servers, bell ringers, organists and musicians, mowers and, of course, PCC members. Do contact the Church Warden if you would be interested in volunteering.
